About Us

COACH Rockwall is an organized co-op exclusively for educational, religious and charitable purposes through educational enrichment, community support, and extracurricular opportunities.

Our Purpose:

  • Foster a Christ-centered support group for homeschooling families, encouraging fellowship and pursuing godly character.

  • Enrich the homeschooling experience for families in the Rockwall area by offering resources, events, cooperative learning, and educational opportunities.

  • Promote positive socialization, community building, and family engagement through field trips, community service, mentorship, and other fellowship activities.

  • Offer a safe and nurturing environment where families can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and receive the support needed to educate their children at home. 

Our Mission & Beliefs:

    • We believe that everyone is born with an innate desire for God that cannot be satisfied by anything or anyone other than Him.

    • God draws us to Him through the Holy Spirit.

    • It is by grace, through faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross.

    • You receive salvation by believing in Jesus’ sovereignty, substitutionary death, and resurrection, and by responding to His free gift of grace by living a moral life. 

    • We believe the Bible (the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments) is the divinely inspired Word of God. 

    • The Bible is the primary, infallible authority for faith and living. It is to be interpreted in light if its original context, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit 

    • We believe in the one eternal God, Yahweh, Creator and Ruler of all things, revealed in Three Persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    • We believe the Father is the first person of the Trinity, the only true God.

    • He directs all things for His purpose and glory.

    • He has created humanity as an expression of His love.

    • The Father is transcendent, actively involved in creation, and offers a personal relationship through Christ Jesus. 

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, being fully God and fully man.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity, who proceeds from the Father and is worshipped and glorified with the Father and the Son, and is the source of life and sanctification, guiding the Church and empowering believers. As the living Holy Spirit, He is the Agent of conviction, the Giver of new life, the One who fills up and guides every believer and the Church to accomplish the work of God, and the One who seals all believers until the day of redemption. 

  • We believe that God wonderfully and immutably created each person as a biological male or biological female, and as His creations, we should live according to the gender God assigns. These two genders are distinct and complimentary by God’s design.

    We believe marriage is only between one man and one woman for life. God intends sexual intimacy to only be between a husband and wife. 

  • We believe that every Christian is called to be actively engaged in a local church and love others as Christ loves us. 

    • We believe we are all sinners in need of His salvation.

    • We believe human beings are equal, regardless of race, nationality or ethnic origin, since we are all created in the image of God. Therefore, all human life is to be valued and protected including pre-born babies, the elderly, the physically or mentally challenged at every stage from conception to natural death. 

COACH is not associated with any particular denomination, but instead holds what we call an “Overall Christian Position”. What this means is that COACH Rockwall stresses those ideals that all Christians hold in common, leaving those denominational differences to be determined in the home and the family’s church.
